Les étudiants en MBA de Harvard ont mis en place un serment à prononcer à la sortie de leurs études à l'instar du serment d'Hippocrate des médecins. Un tel serment est-il une réponse possible peut-il contribuer à l'appel à la moralisation de la finance et des affaires, lancé par la société et la classe politique suite à la crise. Même si cette approche peut sembler propre à la culture nord-américaine et peut ne pas avoir le même écho en Europe, n'est-il pas l'occasion de réfléchir à certains principes à l'occasion de son entrée dans la vie professionnelle ? N'est-ce pas aussi une manière de montrer que certains principes sont partagés par une communauté et qu'il ne s'agit pas de simples vestiges d'une vision naïve et éculée ? As a manager, my purpose is to serve the greater good by bringing people and resources together to create value that no single individual can build alone. Therefore I will seek a course that enhances the value my enterprise can create for society over the long term. Un doux rêve, une utopie ? En tout cas, ce serment a été écrit par la génération Y. N'est-ce pas le signe d'un autre changement initié par cette génération ?
